Description

Harvest Chutney - Apples, Onions & Blackberries

Ingredients

1 kg
Apples (cored, peeled and chopped)
500 g
Onion (peeled & chopped)
500 g
Blackberries
2 clv
Garlic
200 g
Sultanas
500 ml
Vinegar (Cider vinegar preferably, or Malt)
1⁄2 t
Black Pepper (Ground)
1⁄2 t
Cumin (Ground)
1⁄2 t
Salt

Instructions

Simmer all ingredients together in a maslin pan until soft and vinegar has been reduced (two to three hours).
Bottle into sterile jars and cover. Store in a cool dry place.

Notes

Good way of using/saving excess apples and blackberries.
